Martin T Pierro has been a close personal friend of mine since childhood. For many years past we would both make a vacation out of our yearly trip to Orlando for Megacon. It is on one of these trips that SleepRunners was conceived. We had attended a panel discussion on "How to Create Your Own Comic Book" and enjoyed it immensely. The funny thing is that it seemed like it was designed to deter people from jumping into the time and money consuming endeavor. On our three hour trip home we started to talk about a concept I had worked on years past in middle School. Within that trip we had designed characters, and a preliminary storyline. SleepRunners was Born.
Martin has since started up his own Publishing Company and has produced some pretty incredible stories. Though he is not affiliated with Knighty Knight, he will always be a instrumental and vital part of how SleepRunners came to be. I will always support Martin in all he does, and will always be appreciative for all his past contributions to SleepRunners. The direction may not be the same but the premise will always remain.
